We started working with Shine Day Camp when they had 136 unique campers attending camp and were eager to grow their organization. Shine realized that Metro Detroit area families were craving a summer experience for their kids that was safe, educational, fun, and offered high value.  They already had the quality programming but did know how to market and attract new families.  Shine Day Camp engaged Innovata Group to help them understand the solutions needed to reach the next level.

Site Redesign
We created an engaging and fun site for both parents and kids.  Explainer and promo videos were integrated to show off Shine’s camp experience and simply explain the value of its service.  The website was designed to be responsive and mobile friendly.

Online Signup & Digital Forms

  • Developed a simple and easy to use custom signup and online payment form.
  • Implemented the ability for parents to fill out and digitally sign forms and waivers

Facebook Ads
Facebook ads has been key to promoting Shine Day Camp.  Our social media team drilled down and found the perfect parent demographic.  We then A/B tested over 30 different ads to identify the best converting ads and content.

Site Management
Shine staff wanted to focus on what they do best but still needed to be confident their website was fast, secure, and up-to-date. With our “No Worries” website hosting, security, and management service Shine can better deliver an amazing camper experience.

Shine Day Camp now wants to take their organization to the next level.  Their BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is:

One of the key solutions to help Shine achieve their BHAG is the creation of super custom CRM solution.  Shine’s new CRM will automate workflow, parent / camper management, document management, and payment processing.  In addition industry leading tools will be created for the camp and event industry.  Development has started and information will be updated to this case study.
